the jungle never sleeps

Leva dagen i skolan. Leva dagen i Östersund, ock?

And being alone with time, I decided to travel North. The annual Vintermarknad of Sámi people is taken place in Jokkmokk. It is historically known as gathering of Sámi families to exchange news, goodis and I guess a happening for the youth, too. Ok, going there by night train was an adventure in itself; snorring people and falling children and then, 25 degrees celsius minus and bright sunshine ... Totally lost but truly there with: - a lot of Sámi - amazing tourists - and reindeer races for them - luxery - culture and art - weather - flora and fauna (reindeer) - beart wearing men - yoiks - atmosphere - interesting lectures and discussions - delicious food (reindeer, reindeer kebab, lingonberry marmelade) - and freezing feet ... ... by then it turned to be minus 35 degrees celsius. One night in a hostel and the night train back. The World Rhythm Music Festival in Östersund went by past weekend - and as the North is always performing on high standards it has been again very wonderful wit...

Meißen

So, here I am, since June 1st, official inhabitant of Meißen, Saxony. It happened fast, first attending an energy forum, meeting many different people, sending the initiative application, being invited - bang! - having th job, finding a flat, moving from Göttingen and starting a very unknown new chapter of life. Now, being an official member of the office class, time just moves on very quick - back then, when time was always present, plenty enough for letting the feet do what they wanted to, having too much time, turning and twisting in circles ... now, sometimes it feels that time is like sand: as soon as you dug up a handful, it runs through your fingers - thanks to gravity! The new challenge keeps me busy, exhausted but with full speed, river Elbe whispering into my ears, moving on paths taken by C. D. Friedrich, feeling strange but good.
